Aiko was our first American Akita and the spinster of the pack =). Despite all the tries we did to get her pregnant she never did, and no puppies were gotten out of this happy tail wagger. Aiko was sterilized at the age of 5. So this missy spent happy days in her life and we felt as if her speed increased with age. Aiko got along pretty well with dogs just as long as they kept desent distance to her highness, but she loved human. Of course every visitor in our house were there just for Aiko!

 

Aiko had a successful show career, which continued also at the veteran classes.

 

 

 

We lost Aiko to a half one-sided paralysis exactly at the age of 10,5 years. Always so cheerful and playful Aiko got to wobble and her legs didn’t work properly anymore, so we had to make a hard decision. Run free and fast our dear friend <3
